YLF Retreat March 2026 – Clarity of Sight

By Angelin

Amidst the beginning of spring, the YLF retreat (12th-14th March, 2026) was like hitting the reset button, opening doors to endless possibilities for everyone who joined. These three days called attendees to discover the intricacies of how they’re woven in God’s kingdom and personally witness the truth of Psalm 139. We began by reconnecting with each other and welcoming newcomers. God’s presence was powerful during praise and worship. Mornings saw collective devotion where everyone reflected on God’s word and prayed together. The opening sessions explored reasons for “Why one might be unable to see?”, through funfilled interactive demonstrations. Then, attendees had to recall the past and note their experiences and achievements. As per the theme, all sessions focussed on discovering one’s blueprint through H.A.P.E. (Heart, Ability, Personality, and Experience), gaining clarity of sight about one’s unique design, and ways of serving in God’s kingdom. Structured questionnaires and a personality test helped us discover our traits and skills. Based on our unique strengths, each person got mapped to different YLF activity teams (hyperlink to Activity page) where leaders provided an overview and how each team member can contribute. We also took back a vital message: Use one’s uniqueness not for oneself but for others. Meanwhile: • YLF Worship Team composed a new song based on Proverbs 2:1-6! • Several attendees made life-changing decisions in areas where they sensed God’s calling. Three days of unplugging from the outside world and fellowshipping with one another was such a blessing. Looking forward to reconvening in August for the retreat “The Joy of Serving”. Signing off for now!!! Angelin
